This is a series of 3 2-hour swim clinics to help prepare triathletes for open water triathlon swimming.  Each clinic is coached by Total Immersion Master Coach Suzanne Atkinson, MD.   Use this Event booking page to secure a spot in each of the 3 clinics at a savings of $30.  Normal price $50 for each clinic individually.   Purchase all three for $120.  All clinics are held at the Olympic Swim & Health Club in Penn Hills.   If you would like to attend only 1 or 2 events, please use that events booking form instead of this one.

Clinic #1 Effortless Endurance, May 25th, 2013   8 am – 10am

Clinic #2  Easy Speed, June 15th, 2013 8 am – 10 am  (<–note updated date, SAT June 15th)

Clinic #3 Open Water Skills, July 6th, 2013 8 am – 10 am

Note that a Tempo Trainer is a required tool for Clinic #2 and must be purchased separately as well. (~$35)

WHAT TO BRING:
We recommend that male students wear a Speedo-type brief or close-fitting triathlon swim shorts, rather than loose-fitting swim trunks, which can make balance even more of a challenge.

About Coach Suzanne

Suzanne Atkinson, MD is the head coach & founder of Steel City Endurance, Pittsburgh’s oldest coaching company for endurance athletes.   She is a Total Immersion Master Coach and has participated in 9 different week long open water swim & triathlon camps over the past three years.  Prior to triathlon coaching & medical school, Suzanne worked for Outward bound school teaching teens & adults technical expeditioning skills including white water canoeing & kayaking, rock climbing and mountaineering.   Suzanne currently splits her time between working in the emergency department at UPMC East, consulting as a command physician at StatMD, and coaching endurance athletes in Pittsburgh and around the world.
